As PHP 7 becomes more prevalent more CW4 PHP sites may run into compatibility problems with PHP 7's requirement for MySQLi. Although CW4 has reached the end of its official support window, we realize that a lot of sites are still using it.
How should you deal with PHP 7 & MySQLi?
Check with your host. Many, in fact, most hosts still offer pre-PHP7 enviroments so your easiest solution is to remain in or ask to be moved to one of their pre-PHP 7 servers.

IMPORTANT NOTICE: This update pack has been tested and works, but we are making this available on a 'use at your own risk' basis. Due to the amount of time that has passed since the release of the last version of CW4PHP and the fact that we have no way of knowing if, or what sort of modifications may have been made to your site, there's no way we can offer free support for this update. But, again, it has been successfully tested with the core files of the last version of CW4 PHP.
If you choose to use the update, be sure to read the instructions in the update zip file and most importantly, BACK UP your site before making the changes.
